Frozen Momos & more to Go
Frozen Momos are hand made dumplings with a flour based dough and stuffing made with either freshly ground pork, chicken or a vegetarian filling. The momos are sold with Yam’s homemade tomato, garlic and coriander sauce.
All you need to prepare these at home is a steamer. A simple bamboo steamer sitting in a pan of boiling water works and so does a pan with holes sitting over top a second pan of boiling water. Coat the steamer or top pan with holes with a small amount of oil and/ or some parchment paper. Bring the water to a full boil and THEN place the momos on top. Steam for 15 - 20 minutes. Heat the sauce and enjoy.
