Nepalese Momo Steaming Instructions

Thank you for buying Momos.
These Dumplings are freshly made with hand made dough and nicely spiced fresh ground meat. Here are the steaming instructions so you can enjoy them at home.

  1. Steam the momos from frozen.
  2. Use either a bamboo steamer set inside a pan of boiling water or a double boiler with a hole filled top pan. Prepare either steamer pan with a small amount of oil on the surface and for an even easier clean up you could lay a piece of parchment paper on the oiled surface. Poke holes in the parchment paper.
  3. Bring the water to a full boil before you put the momos on top.
  4. Set the momos on top of the boiling water and steam for 15 - 20 minutes. Until they are soft.
  5. Heat the sauce.
